Over the weekend some new features in the website have been implemented. Feedbacks are most than welcome especially as your comments can contribute to define better our specifications to the company who will deploy and maintain the final version of the website.
Subscription system
This feature will allow you to be notified via e-mail whenever somebody will add a comment to the discussions you will choose to subscribe to, so that you will not have necessarily to go online for checking if somebody has added new comments. You can subscribe a certain discussion clicking on the text "subscribe post" that is now located under any post on the website. In the navigation menu (on the left) you will now have a "my subscription" entry, for a centralised management of your subscriptions.
Attention: the subscribe feature will not notify you about new discussions, but only about new comments to an existing one!
Events feature
Seeing that somebody already entered in the forum discussion the first events in relation to the campaign, the event feature has been developed and installed: it allows users to register a given event online. You will see now a calendar on the right and a menu under "content" for displaying the events in chronological order. If you want to register an event yourself, simply follow content -> create content -> event from the menu at the top left.
Improved search mechanism
This is a rather invisible feature. However: as the content of the website is growing rapidly, the search engine has been optimised so that it should give better results. What?! You didn't know you could search the website!? The search box is at the very top right!
New upgrades are in the pipeline. For the moment, any feedback on these will be more than welcome!
