A sample picture from the photo galleryThe "All different- all equal" campaign was present at one of the largest Open Air Festivals in Europe, the Sziget Festival in Budapest (09-15.08).

"All different - all equal" was the motto of this year's stand of the Council of Europe at the Sziget (=Island) Festival in Budapest, which was attended by some 400.000 young people from allover Europe.

Thousands of visitors have been enjoying various activities such the "Living Library", "Sign a star all different - all equal", the "Europe puzzle", plus various quizzes and games on Human Rights, Europe and Participation. General information on the Council of Europe was also offered.

The Living Library received a lot of attention in the media and was one of the most popular attractions in the "Civil Island", that area of the festival, where NGOs, international organisations and governmental services offer activities to the "Islanders".

The stand was visited by the Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ms Kinga Göncz and numerous other personalities. The programme was run by the European Youth Centre Budapest in co-operation with the CoE Information and Documentation Centre in Hungary.
