Consultative Meeting - "Access of Young Migrants and Refugees to Working Life"

Please find enclosed a call for participants in the Consultative Meeting on "Access of Young Migrants and Refugees to Working Life", to be held from 15- 16 October 2007 at the European Youth Centre Budapest.

The Consultative Meeting is organised by the Directorate of Youth and Sports of the Council of Europe in cooperation with the Committee on Migrants, Refugees and Population of the Parliamentary Assembly and the European Migration Committee (Directorate General on Social Cohesion), both institutional partners wishing to consult the Council of Europe youth sector on recommendations under development.

The aim of the meeting is to work on the development and implementation of policies and practical measures to facilitate the access or young migrants and refugees to working life and to social rights. The meeting will bring together approximately 40 participants with a strong interest in the subject, representing diverse stakeholders (public bodies, business, NGOs, civil society representatives etc.).
