New "grungy" layout: bug reporting
Submitted by mac on 22 January, 2007 - 20:49.
This Website
Upgrading the website has been a major work: beside the new layout, there are dozens of changes "under the hood" and it is very likely that with all the changes we did, we introduced some bugs in the website functioning.
We would very much appreciate if you could report in this thread any problem you encounter while browsing the site. (A message error, a "page not found" message, a page that messes up the layout...).
In reporting bugs, please indicate:
- if you were logged in or not (i.e. visiting the site anonymously),
- the URI of the page that generated the problem,
- what browser and what version you were using,
- any useful information for reproducing the problem (i.e. what steps you did immediately before the probleoccourreded).
Many many thanks to all of you who will help out in this process!

Contact the secretariat while the problem gets fixed
I don't work any more for the Council of Europe, but I nevertheless informed the programmer of the problem. Please contact the secretariat (Katrin.Oeser@coe.int) while the problem gets fixed.
HTML-Format for Editing NCC list
When I wanted to edit the NCC contact list, it was only displayed in html format which is a complete mess if you want to find anything there and to add something.
I was using modzilla and I was logged in. It shoudl be displayed in the WYSIWYG, what you see is what you get format, please and urgently!!!!!!

Cache problem - Refresh the page
Hello Katrin,
the problem is due to the fact that either your proxy server, either your browse, still "remember" the old site, and try to mix what they remember with the new layout of the site.
Long explanation but short solution: hit the "refresh" button of your browser, allow some seconds for the buttons of the WYSIWYG editor to be loaded, and everything should look ok!
Calendar of Events
The update of this part of the site is still under development (we are redesigning from the scratch the functionality of this module... wait and see!). At the moment is not possible to add new events to the calendar, alhthough already inserted items can be normally seen.
Inserting new items should be possible again as from the next week-end.
