Living Library –study visit, May 24th-28th, Helsinki

The Finnish Youth Council - Allianssi organized the first Living Library in Finland last year in May as a launching event for the All Different, All Equal (ADAE) campaign. It was a huge success and will take place again this year.

Several European Youth actors involved in ADAE campaign have been interested in the way Finland uses the Living Library method in its campaign. To share best practises and to develop more cooperation we are now planning a study visit on Living Library - method in May. It would be financed by the Youth in Action -program.  We will invite 8-10 participants from EU- program countries  to learn on the method and participate in the living library organised in Helsinki, Finland.

During the four day study visit there will be also chances to share best practises on youth participation, diversity issues and equality with the Finnish NGO's.

Now we are looking for partners for the study visit. All partners need to be involved in adae-campaign and have a interest to use the LL -method in their national campaign. For the rules of the Youth in Action - we can only have partners/participant from the EU and Eta -countries. (no exceptions!). Allianssi will cover all the cost in Finland and pay 70 % of the travel cost.
