Multicultural Italy? No, thanks!

BERLUSCONI, ACCOGLIENZA SI', MA NO A ITALIA PLURIETNICA
"Noi vogliamo una Italia che non diventi un paese plurietnico, pluriculturale. Siamo fieri della nostra cultura e delle nostre tradizioni. Vogliamo aprire agli stranieri che fuggono da paesi dove rischiano la vita o la loro libertà, non vogliamo accogliere tutti coloro che vengono qui per apportare danno e pericolo ai cittadini italiani". Lo ha affermato Silvio Berlusconi parlando a Radio Anch'io. Il premier ha quindi garantito l'apertura dell'Italia a quegli stranieri che possono essere accolti "dignitosamente" e che vengono nel nostro paese per "lavorare". "Noi vogliamo - ha aggiunto- che questi stranieri si adeguino alle leggi e al nostro modo di vivere. L'altro giorno mi sono venuti i brividi - ha aggiunto - sentendo Diliberto che in tv diceva di non ritenere un problema l'introduzione dell'insegnamento della religione coranica nelle scuole perché tra qualche anno metà degli studenti saranno cattolici e metà musulmani". "Questa è la politica della sinistra che noi contrastiamo - ha aggiunto - perché noi non vogliamo una Italia plurietnica e pluriculturale, siamo fieri della nostra cultura e delle nostre tradizioni".

BERLUSCONI, WELCOMING YES, BUT "NO" TO A MULTI-ETHNIC  ITALY
"We want Italy not to become a multicultural, multi-ethnic country. We are proud of our culture and of our traditions. We want to open the door to foreign people escaping from countries where their life or freedom are in danger, but we do not want to welcome those who come here to bring damage and danger to Italian citizens".
     This is what Silvio Berlusconi has stated in a radio interview to "Radio Anch'io". The premier has then guaranteed that doors will be open to those Italy can welcome "with dignity" and that come in Italy "to work".
