The training for the National Communication Officers is just over, and I came back to Strasbourg with renewed enthusiasm and energy (working all the day behind a computer screen is quite an alienating experience for somebody with a background in non formal education...).

Today I was checking the statistics of the website, and I just realised that - for some reason I don't know - during April we had a change in the distribution of the visitors of the website.

You might have guessed what this post is all about if you followed the adventures of Andrea. Finally we made our way up to the top of Google!! As from today, when you type "All Different All Equal" into Google (international version), we are the first result to be displayed (the second one if you type "Diversity, Human Rights, Participation").

Still in the line of Google doesn't love us yet...

Checking the statistics of the portal (more specifically, finding out how people find our website on Google) I found out some very interesting search keys (the words used for a search):

• "Why all equal when all different?" - I suppose this could be a good topic for the forums!
• "island of zamunda" - So, I assume our message got off coast Guinea!
• "We are all different slogans" - ...when a motto becomes an identity!
• "Are we all equal?" - ...at least in dignity, I would say!
• "Responsible for Flanders pillar 2 Romania 2006" - Quite mysterious!

But the award winner, in the search keys in Google (we are the #1 in the list of results!!) is...

    "hadise condom"

So, dear campaigners, don't forget to link your site to ours as described in Google doesn't love us yet as you can see it really helps in being reached!!

I just realised that I didn't properly advertise an important change (well, actually a very big improvement!) of the communication unit of the Campaign.

As from last Monday, the communication unit can in fact rely on the help of 4 senior student from the Marc Bloch University master in International Communication. They will be working for the Secretariat up to mid July, with various tasks, including the one of running the press office and keeping the content of the site up-to-date with the latest development.

There is a kind of magic in the online co-operation, and often people who co-operate neither mention it.

This morning I was checking the statistics of the website and I realised that there was quite some traffic from some other website, plus a certain number of visitors coming from Google and Yahoo, so I checked again the ranking of the website and... well, this community rocks!

For the "all different all equal" string, Google ranks us at #11.
